Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Featuring lake views, Richar’s home - experience Amantani with my family in Amantani features accommodation and a garden. Loved it all, had the space to unwind, the rooms are 10/10 with a beautiful lake view but also super cosy. The food cooked by Richard’s wife was perfection, arriving to a beautiful fresh fish lunch with home grown potatoes was nothing short of excellence. I got to explore the village on my own as I needed some time to recover, and in the evening we made a fire after dinner, and danced to local music in local clothes, couldn’t ask for a better night, topped off by a beautiful night sky. Overall 10/10

Josè e sua moglie sono molto ospitali e disponibili, vengono a prenderti e riaccompagnarti al porto, si mangia in famiglia assieme a loro e al figlio in una bella atmosfera famigliare....lei è una brava cuoca e il cibo è semplice e molto buono..sono stato a visitare assieme a loro la campagna e i loro orti....Jose ci ha accompagnato per un tratto e insegnato come fare il giro dell'isola....Consiglio di passare almeno due giornate nella loro casa e di godersi l'atmosfera del posto.
