Beautiful oasis by the river. Bungalows are comfortable, cool, and tastefully decorated. Be sure to wander on the path at dusk and at dawn to see all the birds. I would give 11/10 if I could! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The Backwaters lodge has everything that a naturelover is looking for. We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.

Situated within 19 km of St Anthony's Church and 21 km of Maris Stella College, Ayona Beach Villa features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Katuneriya. The owner and his family are very friendly and supportive! I felt very good and I’m glad I chose to come here. The food was very good, the view from my room incredibly! I fall asleep and woke up every day hearing the music of the ocean!

Set in Kalpitiya, Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. We stayed here for going to willpatu wich its a amazing national park. The room was very beautiful the second floor but not ac. We changed the room for one in the first floor with ac but it wasn't that beautiful and 10 dollars extra per night. The host it was super nice i really like him. It was a 10/10. The hotel its in between of the jungle and you can see birds and squirrels. A bit difficult to find a tuk tuk or taxi just in the street but the host always help us for find one driver. The owner a good guy, we didn't meet him but we talked with him by phone and he was super helpful There's available bikes, amazing!

Set just 1.2 km from Kammala Beach, holidays hotel offers accommodation in Dummaladeniya East with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

Sun Wind Beach Kalpitiya Kite Resort, a property with a garden, is located in Kalpitiya, 1.9 km from Kudawa Beach, 2.3 km from Kalpitiya Beach, as well as 2.9 km from Kandakuliya Beach. A real community feel with like-minded people. The food and the hosts are incredible. You really feel at home. I will be coming back as soon as physically possible!

We had a wonderful stay at Green sapphire. The location is amazing set amongst rice fields in a rural village where you can walk to a nearby lake and pass by the friendly locals going about their daily life .Our room was so clean and modern and our host Dylan was very kind and informative,The safari organization was great. We saw a leopard cross the road right in front of us at early morning. We saw a lot of other animals to include a family of elephants. The food was also so fresh and delicious.we would definitely recommend staying here and get to feel the real SriLanka away from all the tourist hubs.

The guest house it’s been probably one of the cosiest place I ever been to, simple but just perfect! The facilities were working super good, the place was nice and clean and I was warmly welcomed to feel comfortable straight away! Sifras is an absolute legend, young, motivated and really good energy! Definitely recommended, it’s one of the best place I’ve been into so far in Sri Lanka.
