The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

The rooms are nice, the people are absolutely friendly, helpful, thoughtful and top when it comes to organizing anything. Very reliable. The food is amazing as is tea and coffee. The place is so tranquil and beautiful. The place to stay!

Kurumba Lodge is a wonderful place with an awesome family. From the first welcome drink until the last moment of GoodBye it was an unforgettable lifetime for us. The son Naditha and his parents supported us in nearly every aspect, we could image. Wether it was some technical problems with my camera or an unforgettable safari – in every moment, they were so helpful. The self made food, the drinks, everything tasted very well. The place of the lodge is also very nice. The terrace with a wide view, all the wildlife animals – for us as nature lovers and photographers – perfect. And by the way, the bed, the matress, the AC – we slept like in heaven. The hardest thing was to say goodbye, because it felt already like at home. We felt in love with these wonderful and heart warming people.

Amazing hospitality, attentive staff, very comfortable rooms and the food was lovely too!We saw some amazing animals on the property on our guided walks, and the guide was very knowledgeable. The location is perfect—just a short stroll to the beach—and the value for what you get is truly unmatched. The food was incredible, with fresh, delicious options every day that made every meal feel special. The customer service was outstanding, and the host made all the difference. They were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help with anything I needed. Honestly, I might have taken advantage of their generosity a little (they were just that amazing!). Whether it was arranging activities, offering local tips, or simply ensuring I was comfortable, they went above and beyond every step of the way. If you're looking for a relaxing, memorable stay with exceptional service, incredible food, and great value near the beach, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Orlofshótel í Dummaladeniya East er staðsett í aðeins 1,2 km fjarlægð frá Kammala-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. We loved everything about this hotel and fantastic family running it. I would say that the stay exceeded all our expectations. Hotel is beautiful, all the furniture, room size, lobby, cleanliness all to very high standard. Food i cannot even describe because it was soooo good. Close to the beach and shops. I would definitely recommend to everyone. We will definitely visit again. Thank you so much Xxxx

Gististaðurinn er í Chilaw, 43 km frá kirkjunni St. Anthony's Church og 45 km frá Maris Stella College. Elegant Hamlets Home Stay býður upp á garð og loftkælingu. A calm and quiet environment. Adjacent to the house but able to enjoy the freedom without any disturbance. Great value for money. There is also an outside dining and coffee making area. The rooms on two floors are of luxury quality. Highly recommend.

Green Sapphire Holiday Resort Wilpaththu er staðsett í 35 km fjarlægð frá Kumbichchan Kulama Tank og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, ókeypis reiðhjól og garð. The food and hospitality were amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and went out of their way to make sure I had a nice stay.

Kalpitiya Guest House er staðsett í Kalpitiya í Puttalam-hverfinu og er með garð. Þetta gistihús býður upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði og sólarhringsmóttöku. Gistihúsið er með fjölskylduherbergi. The owner was really nice and helpful with us. We just stayed one night. The room was good. He let us use the kitchen. Thank you!
