Set within 17 km of Sigiriya Rock and 20 km of Pidurangala Rock, Hotel Hanguk Villa offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dambulla. Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya is located in Sigiriya and features a private pool and lake views. Featuring babysitting service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. My stay at Hidden Lake Cottages exceeded my high expectations! The actual villa with my own private pool was such a peaceful retreat right in the center of sigiriya but the incredibly kind and helpful owners, Mahesh and Chandhi really made it the most easy and comfortable experience. Before I arrived they arranged for a driver to pick me up from Colombo for the best price around, so my arrival couldn't have been smoother. Our diver Aigith was so reliable and helpful and we used his services every day. I highly recommend staying at least 3 nights and having Chandhi serve you her spectacular homemade meals poolside. We much preferred her meals to the restaurants. You do not need a plan before you get there because they will arrange things for you but this is what I did and it worked out perfectly: Day 1 airport pick up, swim in private pool hike pidurangala rock at sunset, come back and have dinner poolside. Day 2: sunrise at sigiriya rock and go to Dambulla cave temples and have lunch and dinner poolside. Day 3: Go to Anuradhapura and come back for snack and then dinner poolside. Day 4: Have an amazing breakfast and try not to cry when you check out after having such an amazing experience. I have been all over the world and this place really stole my heart. You will not find a more beautiful place that will take better care of you, especially at such a low price. I tipped a lot because I felt like they could have charged a lot more. Very kind, helpful and honest people that are willing to help you with anything at all.

Situated in Sigiriya and only 3.8 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Nature View home Stay features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Extremely beautiful place, sweetest family, outskirts of the village, in the jungle as sigiriya experience should be. The room is very nice, cute and clean. Bed is very comfortable and has mosquito net. The bathroom is superb, large and has hot water. You have a small extremely cute balcony. You feel the whole house is done with love. The whole family is extremely sweet. You really feel taken care of. They make very nice local breakfast in the morning, check on you if you have any needs, they are all very kind and smiley. You really feel that you are living with a very sweet local family. At the same time you have %100 your personal space. The house is in the jungle, is a nice 10 mins walk from main road. It's on the outskirts but there are other village houses on the way closeby, you feel completely safe walking back and forth. You can see, hear animals, and have cute small visitors. As Sigiriya is a wild elephant area, it is generally not recommended to walk around before-after sunset. With scooter or tuktuk it is fine. I had two days walking, one day scooter and it was very nice. You can also get a tuktuk from main road to house for reasonable price after sunset. At an amazing jungle area like this, you don't wanna stay in busy main road. This house gives you a wonderful serene jungle experience. I will for sure again stay here when i am back in sigiriya.

To begin with: the hosts were excellent! They met all our needs we’re extremely generous and made our stay a true sri lankan experience. They introduced us into their culture (we were even allowed to look through their wedding photo album), helped us plan our day, arranged activities, prepared wonderful and tasty food and have been very supportive! Both of them are very hard working and do everything to make you happy. You get to meet the whole family, where all are absolute sweethearts. We are so thankful for this experience and recommend to everyone!

The hosts were wonderful — they were prompt in replying to our messages and tended to our needs. The breakfast we were served was delicious. The bed was comfy and the place was extremely clean.

The room was superb- great bed, AC, hot shower. The breakfast was a lovely authentic Sri Lankan meal. The hosts were very accommodating and informative about the area. I felt very welcome. Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Hungry Lion Sigiriya is a recently renovated guest house situated in Sigiriya, 1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock. One of the best rooms we had so far in Sri Lanka, good hot shower and WiFi. All good restaurants within 5/10 min walking distance. The Lion Rock is also nearby. The breakfast is really good and the owner is really friendly and tries giving you a good time!

Located within 3.5 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Relax Nature Villa offers accommodation with seating area. Our stay was excellent. It is a must stop in Sigiryia. Owner and his family are the kindest people on this planet. They help you with anything and their hospitality is exceptional. Also we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner here and it was the best food that we tried in Sri Lanka. All for cheap price. The location is great, very close to Lions rock. 100/10 😁😁😁

Featuring quiet street views, Galaxy View Homestay Sigiriya provides accommodation with balcony, around 5.6 km from Sigiriya Rock. Fantastic stay. Karu picked me up from the airport in a taxi and as with the rest of my stay was so polite, efficient and friendly. He suggested a daily itinerary including Polonnuwara, Dambulla caves and Sigiriya rock and Pidurangala, taking me in his tuktuk. He used to work as a tour guide so is very knowledgeable and knows everyone ! The room was comfortable, air con noisy but I used the fan instead. Great treat to have the pool to cool off in. The food, home cooked by Anusha, was incredible, and all at such good value. Loved it here. Thank you.
