Offering a garden and mountain view, Hotel Hanguk Villa is set in Dambulla, 17 km from Sigiriya Rock and 20 km from Pidurangala Rock. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.... Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

Very intentional about service. Large comfortable room - expressly designed for guests and with separate entrance from the main home. Great breakfast. We left filled to the brim. Would have loved to stay longer.

Offering a garden and garden view, Simoya Nature Park is set in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock and 22 km from Pidurangala Rock. It's a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are extremely clean and the interiors are beautiful. The host family is lovely and very friendly. I was unwell when I got there, they provided me a special homemade remedy drink and I felt much better. Thank you Sanjeev, Madhu and the kids for the wonderful hospitality. Definitely must stay here. There are only 2 rooms in the establishment as of now. The balcony faces a beautiful view of nature and its walkable to the cave temple. I stayed here with my parents, my spouse and infant and it was an amazing stay. Thank you.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Hungry Lion Sigiriya is a recently renovated guest house situated in Sigiriya, 1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock. The location, cleanliness of the room, easiness to get around and very helpful staff! The food was some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka and we got offered a cooking demo for typical Sri Lankan food!

Located within 3.5 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Relax Nature Villa offers accommodation with seating area. Surrounded by the nature and I could feel the beauties of it. Sunlight, birds, moon and stars in the night. Going out to famous places was good but sitting and feeling the nature was also good experience for me. And I had a roommate ( a frog ) in my room. They are cute

Featuring quiet street views, Galaxy View Homestay Sigiriya provides accommodation with balcony, around 5.6 km from Sigiriya Rock. I don’t usually do reviews but I had to with Galaxy view. I stayed here with my girlfriend. This stay was honestly amazing! From the minute we walked in we were given a warm welcome by Karu and his family. They are such accommodating hosts and so kind. This felt like a home away from home. Nothing was too much to ask. They also cooked us such a tasty breakfast each morning. We had dinner the night we arrived and it was outstanding. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re thinking of staying here, do it. Check clodaghdavid.travels on tiktok for an overall view of the place. Hopefully one day we can stay again!

Featuring garden views, Shan Mango Homestay provides accommodation with pool with a view, an indoor pool and a garden, around 5.5 km from Sigiriya Rock. The hosts at Shan Mango Homestay (Shoolini & her husband) were exceptional hosts! We were arriving very early in the day and when I told them about it, they allowed us to check in early in the morning and did not allow someone else to book the previous night (just so that they can have the rooms ready for us). They were willing to forgo an extra night's rent! While there, we were treated to delicious breakfast & dinner (they made vegetarian dishes for us). They have beautiful mango & passion-fruit trees. They gave us plenty of both to eat and take home with us. They also have a cute, little pool but we couldn't use it because it was raining most of the time we were there in Sigiriya The rooms and bathrooms were clean and we got plenty of hot water. The only small negative was that the pressure in the health-faucet & wash basin were a little low. We told them about it and they said they will look into it Overall, highly recommended!
