If only I can rate it more than 5 star I will. The kind and warm welcome of the family host, comfortable bed, clean, cozy and homey stay & the food prepared was delicious and healthy (vegetables were organically grown by the owners from their garden). The area is surrounded with natural landscape too from rivers to mountains and it’s even more beautiful during the winter to walk around and enjoy the view.

The hosts (husband and wife) were the most friendly and welcoming ever and they made everyone feel comfortable. The bed (futon) was comfortable and everything was very clean. The food was delicious and felt fresh (I mean, I saw the husband grilling our fresh fish, so I know it's fresh). Absolutely recommended!

古民家柚子季, a property with a garden, is situated in Tonami, 41 km from Kanazawa Castle, 41 km from Kenrokuen Garden, as well as 31 km from Toyama Station. The place is really great, the combination of old japanese home vibe and futuristic facilities. We got free delicious handmade ice-cream. Love the yogibo❤️

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, ゲストハウス山吹 is set in Toyama. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Beautiful little house, very spacious for two people and good value. Our host Mizuho was extremely helpful with information, leaving us little surprise snacks and even driving us to Toyama station when we checked out. The house is 15-20 minutes way from the main cbd/Toyama Station, so you need to get a local bus if you don’t have a car. But there are helpful instructions at the property, and we found it a bit of an adventure to catch the bus. Also you get lovely views of the mountains when walking in the neighbourhood, which you don’t get in the cbd. Also recommend the Yakatori restaurant near the house. Cosy vibe and delicious food.

Hostelis Iruka on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Toyama on külalistemajast 0,2 km kaugusel. Iruka Hostel is definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to. With the plethora of amenities, the whole environment is friendly and a great space to stay after a tiring day. We stayed in a mixed dormitory and it was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The showers, bathrooms, and kitchen space were also really nice and pleasant to use.
