It’s located so beautiful neighbourhood in the middle of mountain. Kota couple and his 4 year-old son are the best team of this wonderful guest house! We had in trouble on the way to the house because of heavy snow, but Kota was very kindly helped and saved us! I have willing to visit this warm and cozy guest house again soon.

She made us breakfast upon request (need to order 3 days before the stay). Food is delicious, especially the firm Gokayama tofu and original dip she made! The location is perfect if you are coming from Shirakawago like us. It is in Gokayama which is also a heritage site. They have gassho houses that are equally beautiful and not as crowded as Shirakawago. We felt at home at Guest House Yamashita-ya. Hope we get a chance to stay again!

The hosts (husband and wife) were the most friendly and welcoming ever and they made everyone feel comfortable. The bed (futon) was comfortable and everything was very clean. The food was delicious and felt fresh (I mean, I saw the husband grilling our fresh fish, so I know it's fresh). Absolutely recommended!

Iruka Hostel offers free WiFi. Toyama is 0.2 km from the guest house. When i stayed in the hostel, it was quite and great to relax. The private space in the "capsule" is huge enough to stand up. Hostel offers an library and kitchen too. Great rooms to relax and enjoy time with the two Cats. Everything was very clean and Equipment looked new, quite good condition.

1.1 km from Toyama Station, toya町家-chitose is a recently renovated property situated in Toyama and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. A beautiful cozy house that really felt like home away from home. The host was truly wonderful and helped us with so many things, and we absolutely enjoyed the delicious food that she prepared for us. Very nearby to the train station and many other places too!
