There is a shared kitchen at the property. We arrived extremely late in the evening so contactless check in was very appreciated. We also liked that the staff had put a notice which rooms are ours. That helped a lot for us tired tourists. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Liked the art and the little interior objects. This place is someone's gem they cherish and maintain. The shared kitchen is very well equipped. Used it to prepare proper breakfast and did some meal prep for the road.

The room we stayed in had everything we needed and also the shared bathroom and kitchen. The next morning we even got fresh coffee in a thermos (even if breakfast is not provided). The bathroom had all the amenities, including cotton pads, a first aid kit, sanitary pads and face towels. The host is very friendly :)

Room was cozy and very well designed with a window seat looking out to the hills and the horses. Bright, spacious and comfortable common room and incredibly well equipped shared kitchen. Hopefully guests will take care of it all so that it stays so beautiful. Loved the location midway between Gulfoss Falls and Geysir, 5 minutes from both. Highly recommended.

The accommodation has everything we needed. The host is very helpful and accommodating. The location was fantastic- central to all the attractions in the Golden Circle.

The Old School House - Gaulverjaskoli’s rooms are simply furnished and have shared bathroom facilities. All rooms offer views of the surrounding lowlands. Guests can cook their meals in the fully equipped shared kitchen. I would definitely go there again. More beautiful than on the pictures, peaceful, good cooking area, nice places to chat whit other guests, clean, friendly owners, everything was good.
