I loved everything about this home. The location was perfect - It’s right on the way to all the best things along the south coast - only 12 mins from Selfoss, it was so quiet at night, super great place to see the stars or northern lights (from the very cozy hot tub on the patio), the greenhouse garden is to die for and the owners were AMAZING and SO lovely to chat to.
I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

It was an ok cabin. The best part was that one of the extension cords had outlets to charges our phones without Icelandic adapter. It had a big table to have dinner and to use paper maps to plan.

It’s cosy, the beds are comfortable, and we were really satisfied with the cleanliness, the location, the size, and the quality of the furniture, utensils, appliances and so on, and also with the treatment the host provided to us. Lovely place with a lovely host. The area is beautiful, the room was really spacious, comfortabl and well-equipped. Also, we had a chance to enjoy a hot water tub bath. Absolutely fabulous!

The cabin was super cosy and comfortable! Our lovely hosts were so welcoming including their two dogs. In terms of amenities, they had thought of everything from a well equipped kitchen to dressing gowns in the shower! Enjoying the hot tub after a day of hiking was a great treat! The setting was super peaceful and relaxing. We loved our stay and hope to visit again soon!
Our stay was great! Johann is a great host, so helpful, attentive, and friendly. He gave us travel advice and maps, got along great with our non-english speaking children. The house is so interestingly decorated and the jacuzzi was wonderful. Everything was clean and attention to details was great. The breakfast was varied and tasty.
