Myrkholt is a newly renovated property located in the unspoiled landscape of the Icelandic Highlands. Situated in the famous Golden Circle between Gullfoss and Geysir, this property is the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Myrkholt has six cozy rooms, each equipped with private bathrooms. Guests can take advantage of the well-equipped self-service kitchen, spacious shared dining room, and outdoor barbecue facilities. Surrounded by nature, the rooms have mountain views, perfect for those seeking relaxation and adventure alike. Hiking and horseback riding trails to the geothermal springs at Great Geysir, Haukadalur Forest, and Gullfoss Waterfall conveniently start right in front of the hotel. In the winter months, Myrkholt is an ideal spot for seeing the Northern Lights dance across the night sky, adding an unforgettable touch to your Icelandic experience.
