The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

Featuring mountain views, Myrkholt Cabin provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 5.2 km from Geysir. It is located 7.3 km from Gullfoss Waterfall and offers a shared kitchen. Great property, so new we could smell the fresh paint! Room was cozy and very well designed with a window seat looking out to the hills and the horses. Bright, spacious and comfortable common room and incredibly well equipped shared kitchen. Hopefully guests will take care of it all so that it stays so beautiful. Loved the location midway between Gulfoss Falls and Geysir, 5 minutes from both. Highly recommended.
