Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse & Jungle Trek is set in Bukit Lawang. This homestay offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Bryan is a really knowledgeable (ask him about the jungle, he has great stories), positive and cool guy. His friends, family and him will make sure that you have a nice stay in the cozy jungle hub of Bukit Lawang. The food at the Guesthouse is excellent and the vibe is very good and relaxed . The jungle trek is lead by Rosit aka the magician! Just like Bryan, he has real love for the jungle and its animals. He's a great team of guides working together for Thomas Leaf. On top of that, Rosit can show you magic tricks, love his enthusiasm. You can also do a tour in the area to see how Tempeh, Tofu and Brown Sugar are made and you will stop at a some other places with the nice guidance of Ponido (sorry if the name is not totally correct 😅). I can really recommend it!

Situated in Padang and only 1.2 km from Air Manis Beach, The view padang, Amazing view, food, drink, sleep, transport, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and... We have loved our stay with Robert & his family SO much. There’s no lie in the name; it has the most amazing view on the ocean, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset with a cold Bintang. We had an amazing traditional dinner (some of the best food we tasted in West-Sumatra) & felt so welcomed by the whole family. We fell in love with Rocky, the house dog, who will guide you on any walk & find his way back when you decide to take a coffee break :) Stayed for 6 nights, Could not recommend more! THE BEST!

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. There was nothing we didn’t like. Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated room, amazing tropical garden, delicious food in the restaurant, the well organised and executed overnight tour into the jungle (yes, we were lucky to see orangutans in the wild) But it is the people working at the Orangutan discovery villa that made our stay unforgettable - highly hospitable, accommodating, genuine in every way. If we are ever to go back to Bukit Lawang it will be the this place.

Fantastic location. Large room. Helpful staff. Organised activities and motorbikes available to hire each day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ferry drops off and picks up directly at the property. Meals were lovely.

If you'll come to Berastagi without staying here, you will miss out! + the breakfast is delicious and the bed very comfy.

Price, Staff, food and accommodation was sooo nice, nature bath in the river, jungle road to place. Live in a deep nature-that’s what I really want in Bukit Lawang. A recently renovated guest house set in Bukit Lawang, Charlys little House features a bar. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Location was good and room was comfortable enough. Nice balcony.
