The daily dinner was really good and the host created a good atmosphere with all the other guests. Furthermore he advised me on a really cool (and challenging) route to drive to Mt Bromo by motorbike giving me a very unique experience.

The room was nice and clean and totally reached our expectation for a pleasant stay. Also Budi helped us out when no grab driver wanted to take us to Bromo. He picked us up and organized a friend to take us. Also he organized us Bus tickets without charging an extra fee for himself and even let us use a shower on the day we came back from Bromo even though we only stayed the night before. We are so glad we found such a nice person and a place to feel comfortable in Probolinggo which we found very overwhelming and demanding. Would always recommend!

Set 400 metres from Rajegwesi Beach, Java Turtle Lodge Meru Betiri offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. If you are in the of Java you have to stop at the Turtle Lodge. Hadi, the owner of the lodge as well as the entire stuff was very welcoming, and helping where they can. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Hadi organized us a lovely tour with a jeep through the Sukamade Jungle. Before the tour started the stuff took us to the Green Bay, which was absolutely amazing. No crowds, nice water, nice beach, this is a must do when visiting Hadi! After lunch the tour started. We slept in Sukamade, where the guides took us to see a turtle laying eggs. There was also a ranger, who made sure that everybody was respecting the animal at everytime so that the turtle wasn't disturbed by us. The morning after we could release some new born turtles on the beach. After we returned to the Turtle Lodge. It's important to know, that if you want to see the turtles you need to leave the Java Turtle Lodge, but the entire experience was amazing and well organized. We felt so well, that we extended our stay!

Located within 31 km of Watu Dodol in Banyuwangi, Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen features accommodation with seating area. Everything was fantastic! Marc and Erica are friendly and they tried their best to make us feel at home. The food is great, especially the banana pancakes in the morning ! The location of the guest house is close to the Ijen which is about a 30 minute drive. We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.

Simplicity by Snooze is a recently renovated homestay set in the Banyuwangi district of Banyuwangi. The hotel was great The rooms and the bathroom were very clean and modern, communication with the hotel from the beginning of the reservation was at the highest level, they sent all the necessary information and a list of nearby restaurants. Also we felt very safe, because the mane gate was locked and there was security all night. We are also grateful to the hotel staff, who helped us solve problems with the transfer, guide, bike rental and another in short, the hotel is 10/10
