La cena se sirve pronto y todos los que están alojados y quieren, cenan juntos arriba en la terraza. Conocimos gente muy agradable y aprendimos mucho sobre la región del host qué cenó con nosotros. Si te gusta la naturaleza y la aventura lo recomendamos al 200%!!!! Nos encantó!!!

The wonderful owner! A very nice and kind man, who picked us up by car from the train station! Also when we were about to leave, he woke up very early in the morning to take us to train station, free! The accommodation was very beautiful, with a very nice yard, the room was big and very clean

Java Turtle Lodge Meru Betiri está a 4 min a pie de Playa Rajegwesi y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. Reservamos la habitación pero finalmente hicimos tour y nos cedieron una para dejar nuestras pertenencias hasta el día siguiente. Intalaciones preciosas y muy limpias. El trato del dueño fue excepcional

Mocca Guest House está en Banyuwangi, a 16 km de Watu Dodol, y ofrece equipamiento como jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis. Such an incredible and friendly staff. Annie and Yati were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting there family and the rooms were clean. We had jackfruit pancakes for breakfast with fresh watermelon which was delicious. The neighborhood felt safe and everyone was friendly. We walked around and tried local food. The streets can get busy but everyone was so nice and saying hello as they went by. We did the Ijen tour through them with a group of 5. We had planned to do it alone but when we compared the cost going with a group it was much more affordable. Especially because they make you go up with a guide now. The group size was not too big either. We saw some groups of over 20 people which I would not recommend. Incredible experience. We went from night time cold, to hot from hiking, to cold, to fog, to rain, to the most incredible view we have EVER seen. Our favourite thing in Bali. Even the walk back down was incredible. You also could come later in the day to miss the crowds. The blue luminescent light from the lava has not been working since an eruption in Jan. They take you for sunrise, but we barely saw it because of fog and honestly if you see Bromo sunrise this is nothing in comparison. I would go mid morning, because it get too hot but you miss the crowds and see the real blue of the crater.

Juda Homestay se encuentra a 21 km de Watu Dodol y ofrece bicicletas gratis y jardín, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. Muy acogedor y tranquilo Juda te ayuda con la reserva del treking al volcán ijen Alquile moto en ubud, Bali, y me recorrí toda la isla hasta el puerto de gilimanuk y cruce a la isla de Java en ferry y con la moto. Podéis comprar el ticket del ferry al llegar al puerto por unos 43k con moto. Muy recomendado hacerlo por vuestra cuenta si os gusta la aventura y queréis disfrutar de los paisajes Google Maps va muy bien!

Fantastic hosts, very kind and extremely helpful. They even lent me suitable shoes for the walk. Highly recommended.

Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen se encuentra en Banyuwangi, a 31 km de Watu Dodol, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Wow. Everything was truly magical. The name is correct— it IS a gem!!! The moment we arrived Erika warmly greeted us with a fresh dragon fruit juice. The room is SO luxurious, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, ever. The gardens are lush, the river is clean and the area is so spiritual and relaxing. We spent so much time at the pool swimming, reading, meditating. The owners are so lovely. Marc taught us many things about Java and about life. We appreciated his conversations. Happy to call them friends. Special shout out to young Rico!!! The chef of the house!! Amazing home cooked meals, the best we’ve had in our trip through Indonesia. Thank you Rico you smashed it and you have a great future ahead.
