Abbey was an excellent host and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The room was modern and well appointed, heated to the perfect temperature and had details of local restaurants for our convenience. We stayed as part of a visit to Alton Towers, which is located a 10 minute journey away and it suited us perfectly. There is a great pub across the road serving nice beers and great pizza / pub food. Super convenient as it is a 30 second walk. All in all, couldn't have been better.

Juile was an amazing host, made you feel at home, and couldn't help you enough! :) The house and room were spotless and fabulous. Gorgeous free standing bath in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and even linen was top quality. My partner didn't feel well the day we were due to check out, and she allowed us to stay later for him to rest until we headed to the airport. A lady! 10/10 highly recommend. Great location for Alton towers and a lovely country escape.

Comfortable and good location. The breakfast was wonderful and tasty and plenty . Friendly owners and lovely clean and spacious rooms .

The Olive Tree Stramshall is situated near Uttoxeter, 3.1 km from Uttoxeter Racecourse. With a bar, the property also features on-site tea rooms and free WiFi. Large, comfortable room with beautifully updated bathroom. Hosts cooked our breakfast as we sat down and served us drinks and fruit. Very homey feeling.

The bedroom is excellent with a fridge and a table to eat on with a kettle in the room, plates and glasses and cutlery provided. The bathroom is private but not in the room. The owners maz and Gordon are very welcoming and helpful.
