The welcoming staff on arrival & the friendly locals we were made to feel very welcomed. The rooms are immaculately clean & decorated to a high standard with toiletries in the bathroom. Complimentary of tea, coffee & biscuits. Nice touch having a small fridge & hairdryer in the room.. In the main hallway, a small kitchen for guests to use, microwave, toaster, plates & cutlery, also iron, etc. Well stocked corner shop across the road & Sainsbury's or Morrison's down the road a few minutes drive away.

Situated within 10 km of Alton Towers and 15 km of Trentham Gardens in Cheadle, Abbey’s Inn features accommodation with seating area. Abbey and her husband were so friendly and helpful when checking us in. We were welcomed into their home and had a cosy private room with a modern ensuite. The place was clean and had stylish decor and we would happily come stay here again. We were also given great recommendations for food in the area.

Set just 19 km from Capesthorne Hall, The Royal Oak offers accommodation in Biddulph with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. Steve was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The bar has a great selection of beers and the room was warm, clean and well-appointed.

Set in Leek and only 20 km from Buxton Opera House, Peak Weavers offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was delicious! What a nice way to start the day😀

Situated just 10 km from Alton Towers, Higherlands provides accommodation in Kingsley with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking. Juile was an amazing host, made you feel at home, and couldn't help you enough! :) The house and room were spotless and fabulous. Gorgeous free standing bath in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and even linen was top quality. My partner didn't feel well the day we were due to check out, and she allowed us to stay later for him to rest until we headed to the airport. A lady! 10/10 highly recommend. Great location for Alton towers and a lovely country escape.
