A guest house era gerida pela Mirella, uma super host simpática sempre disponível e que tem uma mão para a cozinha excelente. Pequeno almoço incrível à la carte onde escolhemos varias opções do que queremos para o dia seguinte, muito bem confeccionado. Quarto muito confortável, bem iluminado, wc limpa e com mudança diária de toalhas. Um sítio a não perder!

We chose Lauderville Guest House to stay in while we visited Edinburgh earlier this month (June 2024). We highly recommend it. Simon was our fantastic host. Before we arrived, he had contacted us and provided all necessary information. Simon is very open and always ready to help. Our room was very cosy and impeccable - I mean, we were stunned by how clean and tidy the room had been. Homemade breakfasts were delicious. The Lauderville Guest House is in a very good location - only a few stops away from the city centre. We had not trouble getting to the airport, through the city centre, and early in the morning - we used the night public transport service, but everything went smooth. Amazing hosts, fabulous breakfast, loved the eco-friendly-ness. Fantastic location, close enough to Edinburgh centre for shopping/entertainment but far enough to be lovely and quiet overnight. Could not rate this guesthouse and it's host highly enough and we are so sad to be leaving so soon.

It was more than we ever expected … gorgeous property & accomodation . Very comfortable . A quiet retreat if you want to just relax & reflect . Close to Edinburgh ( 20 minute train ride ) for a day trip from Glenarch House . Would recommend the train to Waverley station in Edinburgh . It’s a self catering property , so will need to work out meals for yourselves . Morrisons ( a supermarket) is relatively close for grocery shopping .

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the BroomHouse Home Stay. Alberto and Eleonora thought of LEGIT everything when turning their extra bedroom and home into a place for guests to stay! They had a book full of suggestions of attractions and food. They also included information for different ways to get around the city and the prices. They had maps, guide books, information, history on the area, etc. They also provided a "kitchen" area with materials to make coffee/tea, a package of cookies, water, cups, microwave, mini fridge, and eating utensils. Their directions and information leading up to arrival were extremely helpful and informative.
