Lovely guesthouse, very clean and few minutes away from the city centre. The breakfast was scrumptious and appreciated the breakfast bag which the owner kindly prepared for us for our early morning flight. There are also parking spaces available at the accommodation. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Edinburgh.

Situated in Edinburgh, the recently renovated 4 Friends House features accommodation 1.1 km from Royal Yacht Britannia and 3.1 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. Very nice and quiet place to stay ! People working there are very kind, good attention. They have been able to give me very early check in (as I was already in the city) even if it was 1st of January !

Absolutely loved the Lauderville guest house. Host was incredible and nothing was too much to ask. The four poster room was incredibly cosy and the perfect setting for our Christmas break.

Everyone was very welcoming & helpful. The location is very central too. I'd definitely stay again and would reccomend.

The hosts are very attentive and helpful. Everywhere is very clean, tidy, with everything needed and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent!

In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.
