The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety to choose from.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.

I personally, work in Australia with a commercial,interiors company. Who would be very proud of this project… When we return to England, we would love to visit again…
