The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon. We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.
Bowness-on-Windermere
The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Comfortable, clean, great location! Wonderful breakfast and host!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Svært komfortabelt rom med alt en trenger. Kjempegod seng. Fin utsikt. Badet var stort og godt trykk i dusjen. Super frokost! Veldig hyggelig vertskap. Ligger ca 5 minutt fra jernbanestasjonen i Windermere. Ca 20 min å gå til Bowness, og i tillegg gode bussforbindelser til områdene rundt. Fikk tilsendt info på forhånd om turer og restauranter. Veldig hyggelig opphold! Anbefales på det varmeste.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Very comfortable room, the bathtub was a plus.
Ambleside
The Log House is located in Ambleside, 16 km from Lake Windermere, 29 km from Derwentwater, as well as 34 km from Muncaster Castle. Facilities as seen, very good decoration, and quality. Very nice bathroom with large space.
Bowness-on-Windermere
Set 38 km from Derwentwater, 43 km from Askham Hall and 50 km from Trough of Bowland, Craig Walk Suite offers accommodation situated in Bowness-on-Windermere. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, fixtures and fittings top class, very tastefully done.cozy warm, spotless,a very pleasurable space, to relax and unwind… The renovation of the whole building, was very impressive, excellent job. I personally, work in Australia with a commercial,interiors company. Who would be very proud of this project… When we return to England, we would love to visit again…
