The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon. We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety to choose from.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Very comfortable room, the bathtub was a plus.

I personally, work in Australia with a commercial,interiors company. Who would be very proud of this project… When we return to England, we would love to visit again…
