They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

Green House Araque Inn is a small family-run property located by Lake San Pablo in Araque, and featuring panoramic views of the Taita Imbabura volcano. The staff and location of the inn were excellent, very cozy. Way better than staying in a 4 star hotel.

Crossed by a waterfall, this ethnic-style house in Peguche, 3 km from Otavalo, features rooms with views of the Andes and Valley of Dawn. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available. Beautifull andean lodge. Great food and very helpful staff. The drive up is steep (only last 200m), but the road is hard and we had no problems with a small hatchback.
