Providing river views, Starlight Mountain Lodge in Sigchos offers accommodation, a fitness centre, an open-air bath, a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities. Such a great location overlooking the valley and seeing the mountain peaks. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bikes were free to use, easy ride into town. Cooking facilities were great they’ll also cook you food if you request breakfast/dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the doggy. Highly recommend. Thanks so much for having me has been one of my favourite hostels so far.

Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetarían Food is a recently renovated homestay in Chugchilán, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. There was something so warm and friendly about this family. Large bedroom - even had fleecy bed sheets which were great as it was cold! Great, plentiful meals. Nice cosy communal space and they lit the fire as we sat and enjoyed the free coffee and cookies. Fabulous value and a real favorite whilst on Quilotoa Loop.

Hostal Taita Cristobal is a recently renovated guest house in Isinliví, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The view from our little balcony in front of the room. -The food they serve is really great (best of all our stays during Quilotoa loop) - The staff is great: friendly and helpfull - they have a little shop selling all you need/want in front of the hostel, which is really convenient -The room is big and we had 2 beds which is great for us as tall people

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal the backpackers provides accommodation with a public bath. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. If you are looking for more than a comfy bed and a hot shower, this is the place for you. Maria and her family made us feel very much at home. They even dried our shoes and cloth. Her cooking was delicious. Almost like a home stay.

It is a wonderful place located among volcanoes. From here I went to climb the Cotopaxi volcano, an amazing experience I recommend to all. In the afternoon we enjoyed doing a BBQ. The place has all commodities needed.

Set in Latacunga, Hostel Tierra de Fuego offers accommodation with a patio. Private parking is available on site. Really cozy low-budget place. The host is very friendly. You can rent everything you for the hiking tours in the surroundings at the hostel. Big plus: you can see the Cotopaxi Volcano from the roof terrace and the host welcomed us with local shots.
