Starlight Inn features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Sigchos. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Víctor and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful. the food was delicious, we got to practice our Spanish and we met their new puppy. they also have a llama named Rocky who made the view of the valley even better. Victor was super helpful in driving us to Cerro Azul for our trip to Tangan. All in all, great place to start the Quilatoa trek over Latacunga.

Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetarían Food is a recently renovated homestay in Chugchilán, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. A nice and friendly family running this hostal with a lot of love. Our room was amazing, the bath and shower top! The WiFi was good enough and the food was excellent. Free banana bread, tea, coffee and water made it just perfect. Go here and not in the overhyped cloud forest.

Hostal Taita Cristobal is a recently renovated guest house in Isinliví, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The view from our little balcony in front of the room. -The food they serve is really great (best of all our stays during Quilotoa loop) - The staff is great: friendly and helpfull - they have a little shop selling all you need/want in front of the hostel, which is really convenient -The room is big and we had 2 beds which is great for us as tall people

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal the backpackers provides accommodation with a public bath. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. María and her family welcomed me very nicely to their hostal. It really felt like home. They served very good and a lot food, I could take my rest and could relax very well. The rooms are cozy. The family even has a little shop, where I could buy snacks for the day. I highly recommend staying with María and her family in their hostel.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Hostal Café Tiana offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property features city and inner courtyard views. Very friendly and helpful staff. They can give a lot of recommendations for hiking the quilotoa loop or Cotopaxi. You can also leave your luggage there which is great. The roof top terrace is also amazing, if you are lucky, you can see the cotopaxi from there :)

Latacunga Hostel is located in the heart of Latacunga. Featuring a terrace, the hostel includes a shared lounge/TV area with a billiards table and flat-screen TV. Free WiFi access is available. This is a beautiful hotel. The street outside is very busy but you would never know it as the hotel is so tranquil. William was amazing. Anything we needed he helped us.
