The hostel is fairly close to the airport. The staff was very kind to pick us up at 1 am when our flight arrived. We had business in Kunming so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer and enjoy the lovely guest house and location. They will take you back to the airport from where it is easy to catch the subway or highway bus into Kunming. Above all, it is not a "box" hotel!

The room was huge and spotlessly clean, and the owner was super attentive and full of energy, making our stay absolutely fantastic. I had initially planned to just stay a night in the Old Town of Lijiang, but after such an amazing experience, how could I resist staying an extra night? Plus, the owner was so generous with his knowledge and gave us tons of great tips for exploring the area.
