This is one the best place I have ever stayed. Really nice and comfortable, the staff were helpful making our stay pleasant. The hostel is fairly close to the airport. The staff was very kind to pick us up at 1 am when our flight arrived. We had business in Kunming so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer and enjoy the lovely guest house and location. They will take you back to the airport from where it is easy to catch the subway or highway bus into Kunming. Above all, it is not a "box" hotel!

Great location in old town in a quiet street. Very comfortable beds, staff was super helpful and they speak english very well. I liked the free fruits !

Situated a 10-minute walk from the South Gate of Dali Ancient Town, Z.Garden offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The owner was really amazing! He was super friendly and helpful! He even picked us up on another hotel and He carried our really heavy suitcase around. I was really impressed by his great service. I need to mention the Lady which is preparing breakfast as well. She was very nice and she made super tasty breakfast. Every morning, she was welcoming us with a warm smile. Rooms are great and location was very good as well. 5-10 min walk to the Acient City.

The owners are just so present, helpful, kind, calm, and show great hospitality. It felt like we were staying at their home and experiencing how life is in Dali. They gave us great recommendations on where to visit and what to do to enjoy Dali, and most importantly, take it slow. We got a delux double room. It is clean, comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated with lots of details showing the owners put a lot of thoughts on this place. Theres a lot of personal touches. The building itself has 3 outdoor and 1 indoor areas for sitting and relaxing. It was a pity we were staying for 2 nights only and didn't get a chance to enjoy the areas. Totally recommend you to stay here, esp if you prefer more personal cute boutique hotels to big chains and commercial hotels. Both owners are also very used to international tourists and speak English, so it is a huge plus. Big thanks to the owners for such a wonderful stay. And look forward to next time visiting you again.
