Excellent position, right in the center of Ancient Town, plus it's in a side alley, so no noise at night from the street. Room was very large and comfortable, big plus for the bath tub in the middle, very pleasant. Staff attentive and helpful, with English spoken and good suggestions for restaurants. The place is overall beautiful and relaxing, with quiet and peaceful common areas. Washing machine available for guests.

Housed in a Tibetan-style building, Timeless Inn is located in Shangri-La Old Town. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, bicycle rentals and free usage of computers at the public areas. We had a wonderful stay at Timeless Inn. On arrival we were greeted with fresh tea and snacks. Our host Rose was very responsive to our needs as guests, especially when our daughter was not feeling well. She made our stay special, making us feel like friends or family that were visiting. Rose served us both Asian and Western breakfast depending on the day, both were delicious. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, very clean. We enjoyed to hang out in the dining room and the he 2nd floor balcony. We highly recommend Rose's place if you visit Shangri-la.

Comfy bed, water was hot, the staff despite the protestations that their English wasn't very good actually speak really good English. I'm just a fast talking rural Australian most people struggle to understand. They also didn't question me loudly clapping and shouting watching the NRL grand final in their courtyard. Amazing location near the old town at the foot of the mountains to boot. They have a western style toilet in addition to the squat toilet in the bathroom. The old school hand carved beds are really cool too.
