Lovely little guesthouse near metrostation. Not far from Pingjiang street, lots of restaurants also nearby. Room was clean and cozy. Owner was lovely.

Located within 45 km of Hanshan Temple and 46 km of The Lingering Garden in Kunshan, Suzhou Kunshan Zhouzhuang Slowlife River View lnn provides accommodation with seating area. The host provided us with excellent service and although there were language barrier problems, he was kind and patient with us. He helped carry heavy bags up the stairs then proceeded to show how the different functions in the room works, all of which he patiently translated through the phone. We highly recommend this property, especially to tourists, because although the host’s English isn’t strong, he will be patient and willing to help.

Architecture and design of dwelling, quality of amenities, value of money, hospitality of host and hostess. It was truly one of kind experience. We noticed the place was rated “the most elegant courtyard” in town upon arrival, and it surely felt that way. It was designed in the style of traditional Chinese courtyard, with beautiful, living plants tastefully positioned throughout the property and in rooms - the hostess is also a floral artist. Everywhere you turn, it is a picture-perfect scene directly cut from a book or a movie. There are tea sets on table and newly harvested tea. A fruit plate was filled with the day’s fresh choices. Books are real, good books, not those only put there for decoration. The hotel staff was also very helpful. Seeing that we sometimes left our door ajar, she thoughtfully ignited mosquito-repellent herds around the vicinity. It is a place one might feel like living in a dream, surrounded by the ambiance of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. The moment you entered the hotel and closed the door behind you, you leave the hustling, bustling world outside, and entered one serene, zen and beautiful.

Situated in Suzhou, the recently renovated Tongli Slowlife River View Inn features accommodation 25 km from Jinji Lake and 28 km from Hanshan Temple. I liked everything at that place. we experienced the real culture of China. The host is incredible, he helped us so much. I would say that this place was my best place during my visit to China. Thank you very much for the hospitality and for showing us the real morals of Chinese people.

Also, the owners are warm and accommodating. Breakfast tastes good. We came late and they waited patiently for us. Also, when leaving, they gave us rain coats because it was raining. They go beyond to accommodate us.
