Everywhere you turn, it is a picture-perfect scene directly cut from a book or a movie. There are tea sets on table and newly harvested tea. A fruit plate was filled with the day’s fresh choices. Books are real, good books, not those only put there for decoration. The hotel staff was also very helpful. Seeing that we sometimes left our door ajar, she thoughtfully ignited mosquito-repellent herds around the vicinity. It is a place one might feel like living in a dream, surrounded by the ambiance of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. The moment you entered the hotel and closed the door behind you, you leave the hustling, bustling world outside, and entered one serene, zen and beautiful.

I had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. The guesthouse has an old charm but it definitely contains modern amenities like heater/ac, hot cold water, wifi, tv, electric water kettle, and universal outlets.
