Set in a quiet area away from the highway, it boasts a heritage dining room with an open fireplace. Quirky and original accommodation in a great location. The owners were extremely friendly and engaging and nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend to anyone.
Springwood

They offered help with our dogs, laundry, food, freezer space. I couldn't thank them more for helping us out throughout the week. The pillows were also so comfy.

The interior of the cottage was absolutely breathtaking. Every room has been immaculately decorated and lavishly furnished; each memento and ornament contributing a unique character to the abode. It is readily apparent that Annie's Cottage is a labour of love. Beauty for all the senses abound here.
I loved my stay here, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Michael and Mary. Annie's Cottage is heaven on earth, and has earned a special place in my heart. I would love to return again!
Blackheath
Boasting free WiFi, Kubba Roonga Guesthouse is a 4.5 star heritage guesthouse set amongst beautiful English-style gardens. Built in 1915, this charming retreat is just 10 minutes’ walk from Blackheath Village. Was there to hike in Blue Mountain and go to Megalong Lot 101 for dinner. Kubba Roonga was a great place to stay. The proprietors are exceedingly friendly and do a great job with providing a wonderfully slightly eccentric place to stay with plenty of room and great accommodations. I will definitely stay there again next time visiting the area.

This 1930’s style guesthouse offers comfortable rooms in central Katoomba, across from the Kingsford Smith Park. Attractions nearby The Metropole include the Blue Mountains’ Three Sisters and the Scenic Railway. It features an on-site restaurant. The welcome at reception was amazing and made the stay so much more enjoyable. Facilities and the place as a whole were excellent!

The location was great. Close to great cafe's, bush walks, and amenities. Everything that the beautiful Blue Mountains has to offer was right at your finger tips. Thank you See for being such a gracious and lovely host.
See was a lovely host and gave us some good recommendations for places to dine. The property is in a quiet location and a short distance into town. Visiting in the middle of winter, it was fantastic to have the fireplace. See restocked the firewood and set the fireplace ready to use daily. We were given a daily breakfast basket with a good assortment of options (cereal, homemade bread, bacon, sausage, eggs, and mushrooms for a traditional English breakfast).
I was in Room 1 and I really did like all the period features in the room, such as the fireplace, doors, fanlight, hardware and trims which I was not expecting. That was lovely to see. The rooms and the hotel have such potential and could be great with the introduction of some rich heritage interior colours. The meals from the Bistro were huge and delicious. It was good to sit in the bar and interact with the locals.
Very tranquil. The b&b was comfortable tidy and was the perfect stay over. Marjory was a lovely host.
Very rustic and of its time. Great hosts are Gary and Julie. Despite the rubbish weather we were able to really relax with a bath, some games of backgammon and reading. Warren the wombat made an appearance and the llama n kangaroos and sheep were fun to watch. The resident collie provides a warm welcome.

Everything! Beautiful home, beautiful garden, fantastic location! We couldn’t have asked for anywhere nicer, or with such a lovely host. And it was great to just walk to the bottom of the garden for easy access to the National Park.
Consistently a great hostel over the years. Good staff, uncrowded dorm rooms, large common areas, clean facilities.
We provided our own tucker. We expected this as it enabled us to meet our nourishment and refreshment needs. This was not a negative thing as the location had all the features of a private home i.e a jacuzzi and sauna bath. 4 Bedrooms had ensuite facilities there was also a bedroom with two bunk beds.
