This place is a gem! The owners are really welcoming and sitting by the fireplace on a cold afternoon was a treat. They know the area well and gave us great advice on places to go and things to do, which was especially helpful given that it was cold and raining during our stay. I highly recommend it and if we are ever in the area again, we know where we will be staying.

Was there to hike in Blue Mountain and go to Megalong Lot 101 for dinner. Kubba Roonga was a great place to stay. The proprietors are exceedingly friendly and do a great job with providing a wonderfully slightly eccentric place to stay with plenty of room and great accommodations. I will definitely stay there again next time visiting the area.

The room was lovely and cosy and it was great to be able to help your self to breakfast. It was a lovely historic house and was very tastefully decorated. We asked for a late checkout and the host was very accommodating which we really appreciated. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we found the location great and had a wonderful dinner in Blackheath.

Everything! Thank Paul and Steeve for being great hosts and preparing such a nice breakfast. The house was very lovely and made us feel like home. We really enjoy staying both in our room and in a well-decorated living room. The place was located near the wood and had beautiful garden. This was far over expectation :)
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
What a wonderful place to stay. Without question the best hostel experience I have ever had. Ross is such a great host, and the other travellers there were so welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean and was a great place to stay before a big run from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves. I definitely feel like this is a home away from home and if I’m lucky enough to get into the 6 Foot Track next year I will be back.
We provided our own tucker. We expected this as it enabled us to meet our nourishment and refreshment needs.
This was not a negative thing as the location had all the features of a private home i.e a jacuzzi and sauna bath.
4 Bedrooms had ensuite facilities there was also a bedroom with two bunk beds.
The owner of the hostel was very kind, there was free dinner and breakfast, the place was perfect for socialising after a day of hiking in the blue mountains, the hostel was busy given the high season, but after all it was very clean. Definitely a good hostel and I will come back if I stop in Katoomba again.
Faye was a great host and provided all the information required for a great stay with friends. It is in a great location, within walking distance to town and the Three Sisters. The property is very clean, spacious and well equipped.
