Dotée d'un jardin et offrant une vue sur le jardin, la Pension l'Etage est une maison d'hôtes récemment rénovée située à Melk, à 600 mètres de l'abbaye. The pension is housed in a beautiful old historical building while the rooms are modern and very tastefully furnished. The breakfast area is particularly lovely and the hosts were very friendly and generous. The breakfast offering was very good with many choices available including very good cappuccino. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Melk.

We appreciated the tranquility, which allowed us to get a good night's sleep and wake up refreshed each morning. The hosts were the epitome of hospitality, greeting us with genuine warmth and offering assistance throughout our stay. They were readily available to answer any questions we had and provided valuable local tips that made our trip even more enjoyable. One of the most refreshing aspects of our stay was that everything lived up to the description and photos provided online. There were no unpleasant surprises or discrepancies; rather, it exceeded our expectations in many ways. What we saw in the photos was precisely what we encountered upon arrival, which further reinforced the trustworthiness of the hosts. In conclusion, apartment was an absolute gem. Landlady was super helpful: we decided to stay one more night at the location, asked her during our breakfast but unfortunately her rooms were already booked, as it was Friday. Quick search in the booking.com app revealed most of the local properties were unavailable too, so she asked around and found an available room for us.

Beautiful room with balcony and amazing breakfast. Hosts are so incredibly lovely and friendly. One of the best places I've ever stayed in. Could not recommend it enough
