Boasting a garden and views of garden, Pension l'Etage is a recently renovated guest house set in Melk, 600 metres from Melk Abbey. This guest house offers free private parking, a lift and free WiFi. Very modern and well-appointed. The owner Robert is lovely and one can tell he has put much attention into the property. There are classic parquet floors matched with contemporary furniture. The breakfast is personally attended to by Robert and the coffee is outstanding and accompanies a beautiful spread of bread, deli meats, cheese, yogurt and toppings, and fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and hope others get to discover this gem!

Landlady was super helpful: we decided to stay one more night at the location, asked her during our breakfast but unfortunately her rooms were already booked, as it was Friday. Quick search in the booking.com app revealed most of the local properties were unavailable too, so she asked around and found an available room for us.
