Only one group stays per day -Tenmaya-家族や仲間と貸し切りゲストハウス 天満屋, hotel in Nakatsugawa

Located in Nakatsugawa, Only one group stays per day -Tenmaya-家族や仲間と貸し切りゲストハウス 天満屋 is a historic guest house that provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a bar.

Lovely accommodation in a 130-year hundred old renovated house. The living room opens on a small green inner garden with a small pond. The kitchen is tiny but fully equipped. Everything is very clean. Indeed the entrance is at the back of a coffee shop, but apart from being weird it is no big deal. The surrounding area has traditional buildings and restaurants are not far away. There is a parking place around the corner and it's free of charge.

Tsukechi Bachanchi - Vacation STAY 89810v, hotel in Nakatsugawa

Situated 28 km from Gero Station, Tsukechi Bachanchi - Vacation STAY 89810v features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

A very unique Grandma cafe stay! We didn't see the grandma, and was greeted by younger staff. Staff took time to explain the stay here and very friendly. It's nestled in a very tranquil village. We were very glad to have the room facing the paddy fields and mountains. At night can even hear insects and the sound of nature. Morning is very beautiful. It's actually very therapeutic staying here. We came in summer so it's very hot. Thankfully the fans help to cool down the place. Opening the windows is good and the insect screens thankfully helped keep out insects. Old looking place but I must say very clean!! It's a one of a kind experience staying in a village . Good for those looking for a stay near the tsukechi area.

Outstanding property which exceeded our expectations in all fronts. Peaceful, clean and such a great example of ryokan hospitality in rural Japan. Toki is an exceptional host who warmed our hearts with friendly and loving care - using google translate we had alot of laughs. You are a very special person Toki and definitely a highlight of our trip. Toki was very helpful with organising things with and for us and Iwamura is a beautiful quiet town with no westerners. Lovely rural stay

Extremely friendly owner, helped me with directions for planning my day there. I ended up going to see the peach blossoms, hiking up a beautiful hill and finishing my day off at an onsen. So much interactivity from the owner, who would message me through the day when I got lost. Great location, and free parking available (tell them in advance). Host let me use the facilities which was a great help. Very clean and a nice house.

Lots of space, quiet area, nice view of mount Ena. Great host! He went at great lenghts to help us book a restaurant in town on a busy evening. And helped us again, when train troubles had us delayed. Again, thank you so much. We can also highly recommend the restaurant reseveration.

The guesthouse is a beautiful 110 year old traditional wooden structure. The futon was very comfortable, all the facilities were great, and the room was spotless. Assi was a great host. I'd recommend Guesthouse Shigi to anyone visiting the Kiso Valley!

This is similar to a homestay accommodation. We had much more room than expected for just 2 of us. Our host was welcoming and gave us a thorough tour of the unit. It was a special experience to stay overnight in the pretty town of Magome. The 2 level unit is conveniently located. There was food available for purchase in the fridge and cabinets which was handy in a town with few grocery options.

This place was a lovely hostel in a great location and with nice amenities. We unfortunately only stayed for a quick stop one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Recommend for those exploring the area.

Kiko was such a great hostess - showed us to our lovely room, put on the heating as we were soaked and then provided more hot water when we asked. And then it was 6 and dinner time - probably our best meal in three weeks in Japan. After a good night’s sleep (even for my insomniac wife), the breakfast was just what was needed before another day of walking in the rain (most of you won’t have as much rain as us, I’m sure).
