Really well laid out, with everything that you could need for a short stay. The view of the water was gorgeous, and it was a short walk to the center of town. Excellent value for the cost, especially as a solo traveler. Would absolutely recommend, thanks for the hospitality!

Decorated with taste and old historical details of the mining history of the region. It’s very cozy and comfortable. It’s super clean and very well equipped. Views and terrace are delightful with direct access to animal farm (sheep and chickens). A lot of historical trails in the area. The family who owns the cottage is lovely.

It's a really good place to stay. Everything is clean and comfortable The terrace is a big plus. I recommend it to anyone.

Wow what a place! Thinking of staying in Wellington…don’t skip past it off the ferry and use this place as your base just 30 mins outside the city and its night and day compared to accommodation in the city. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, there were actually birds singing (and feeding) just off the porch! The rooms and layout is very nice, one of the best places we stayed in on our month in NZ! Great recommendation for a restaurant (the Waterfront was v good).

Very nice accommodation clean, well presented and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped for our short stay. Also location was handy for us.
