It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. The staff were super professional and helpful. One time I went to for a sightseeing, they contacted their regular company. We were supposed to arrive at 4 pm, but I asked the driver to pass by a local shop, at 5 pm they were calling the driver to check if I'm okay or not. They also celebrated my birthday. This is perfect place for whoever is looking for elite standards.

Went out of their way for us, gave us breakfast when it wasn't even included in the price, and took us into town in their tuktuk for new years eve, and picked us up! Couldn't ask for better hosts. The home was super clean and comfortable, and so quiet- got our first sleep in since we arrived in SL 3 weeks ago 😄.. Awesome views too. Bit of a steep walk down to the place but nothing too strenuous. Would absolutely stay again.
