This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

Jayantha is an exceptional host and amazing chef. He provided a clean and beautiful space and drove us around in his tuk tuk when needed. We would've loved to have stayed longer.

My husband really enjoyed the sauna and pool - I see people have mentioned the pool not being heated but my husband thought the pool was extremely refreshing after spending time in the sauna. Overlooks tea plantations. Bed was massive and room was lovely and spacious.

This beautifully preserved 1800s property, nestled within a tea plantation, perfectly balances historical elegance with intimate boutique hotel service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially during my husband's birthday celebration. They arranged beautiful room decorations and even helped me in surprising my husband with a cake – touches that made the occasion truly special. The hotel's location is a highlight, offering peaceful morning walks through the surrounding tea plantation. The property's rich heritage is evident in every corner, providing an authentic glimpse into Sri Lanka's colonial past. Special mention must go to Lakshman, whose attentive service really made our experience special. The entire staff demonstrated professionalism while maintaining a warm, personal approach. The food was delicious and the chef went out of his way to prepare a beautiful cake for us during our stay! For those seeking a tranquil retreat in Nuwara Eliya with impeccable service, Oliphant is an outstanding choice. It's perfect for couples wanting an intimate, peaceful escape with personalized attention.

Featuring a spa bath and mountain view, La Grande Villa is located in the centre of Nuwara Eliya. This property offers access to a terrace, a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. This place is a little gem. Beautiful, cozy, very well maintained, attention to details, kindness of the staff who is always smiling and trying to help, super good food, quiet location on a beautiful side road. Extra comfortable bed, heater, all facilities one might need... and let's not forget the jacuzzi. I would definitely go back!

Grillimisvõimaluse ja mäevaatega Thuring's Holiday Bungalow asub Nuwara Eliyas, 600 meetri kaugusel Gregory järvest. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

Amazing location with views of a waterfall, forest and tea plantations. Super friendly and helpful host, very attentive and welcoming.

The House was located near the City, with Clean and tidy rooms with great helpful friendly staff. We had a very pleasant stay.

Kena asukohaga Townside Lodge asub Nuwara Eliya kesklinnas. Hiljuti renoveeritud puhkemajas on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja aed. Autoga saabuvatele külalistele on parkimine tasuta. The place is really awesome and one of a kind. The weather is chilly as hell but you can have the barbeque lit and warm yourself. The owners are really cool and friendly. We had a great time with them. I honestly recommend this place if you want to have the best of experience in Nuwara Eliya.
