It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. Even better than the accommodation itself was the service and help we received from the owners. They helped us with our travel plans, cooked a delicious dinner (breakfast was just as good) and helped with our car. The owner is a great guy who will not leave you in trouble. My whole family really enjoyed our stay. And if you stay here, be sure to take advantage of the home-cooked dinner offer. The curry here was really delicious!

Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. The staff were super professional and helpful. One time I went to for a sightseeing, they contacted their regular company. We were supposed to arrive at 4 pm, but I asked the driver to pass by a local shop, at 5 pm they were calling the driver to check if I'm okay or not. They also celebrated my birthday. This is perfect place for whoever is looking for elite standards.
