The host is the best ever, awesome recommendations for everything, making our stay so relaxed. The host made all the arrangements and bookings we needed. The location is quiet and just off the busy street. It is only a 10 minute walk to town, well worth the nice and quiet sleep. The breakfast was yummy. The view from the room was amazing. The bathroom was authentic Vietnamese style. I would stay here again and again.

It was really easy and helpful. Most of all, the host was super supportive!! Really made my trip way easier and much more flexible. Thanks!

Great value for money, great location and great hosts. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning and it includes a variety of fruits, yogurt, pancakes, bread, coffee and tea. Check at the reception for tours around the bay as they have a couple of options, they are well organised and they are cheaper than booking online. They also own a vegetarian restaurant which is worth trying!
Great location - very central so you find a lot of restaurants in walking distance but still quiet so you get some sleep :) the staff at the reception and at breakfast was really friendly and helpful! we booked a trekking tour as well used the laundrey service and both worked perfectly and to a very fair price. Breakfast was great as well, with some changing buffet options, fresh fruits as well as your choice of egg dish. Would definitively come back when in Cat Ba and can highly recommend!
The pick up and drop off at our Hanoi hotel was great. Loads of activities to do included Kayaking, hiking and biking, we were never bored. Louis was a great host and really looked after us. Plenty of food to eat. The boat docked in a quiet place and felt like we had the bay to ourselves, away from other boats. Room was a decent size. Vegetarians were taken care of. Towels were provided for the beach time.
Great hostel. I had my own room which was clean, spacious and very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly and helped with everything like excursions, renting bikes and food recommendations, thank you guys:). All in all a great place to stay at the beautiful Cat Ba island.
We only stayed one night at Green Homestay and loved it. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outside area is lovely and well maintained. Big and clean pool is a must! The host is very kind. Quite far from the city center but you can easily access it if you rent a scooter (straight from the Homestay). It’s also a good option to stay here if you desire more calm and peaceful stay, far from the city centre noise.
