I felt like I was in a cottage core style magazine. Everything was clean, the little flower garden in between the rooms/kitchen/bathroom is absolutely lovely, there is wifi, there is a TV, books to enjoy, a very nice kitchen, the bathrooms were the kind you enjoy having a shower in. There was noone else staying the night we went so it was very very nice but it would have been lovely anyway. There is also a very cute friendly cat called Taco, which was just the cherry on top. One of my favourite stays in NZ so far.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. Boasting mountain views, Hatea Drive Accommodation provides accommodation with patio, around 2.4 km from Northland Event Centre. The property has river and city views, and is 1.1 km from Town Basin Marina. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Location was great facilities also great but the best thing about the accommodation was the personal interest and support the owner Michael gave which was over and above the call of duty

It is very close to the estuary, the ocean beach and close to the local Mangawhai Heads shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. Awesome place with stunning views and a lovely atmosphere. The house is magnificent, clean, and full of sun—a beautiful big kitchen and lots of healthy groceries like nuts, seeds...for free to use. The room was very tidy and comfortable!

Paihia Harbour is 27 km from the guest house, while Waitangi Treaty Grounds is 27 km away. The nearest airport is Bay of Islands Airport, 8 km from Kiwiblue. Really nice place. We got there pretty late and we’re easily able to get in. Bathroom was amazing. Lots of lovely little touches like moisturizer, cookies, coffee, and reading material.
