It is in a great location which gives privacy, great views including sea views. Only a few minutes walk to the Russell seafront and a slightly longer walk to Long Beach on the other side.
It was very modern and was equipped with everything you need from cooking essentials to shoe polish towel. A lot of attention to detail. The owners are very friendly. Great stay and we would always book it again!

Everything. I stayed here the weekend of the swim race from Paihia to Russel and it was the perfect place to relax. The room has everything you need for a great stay, the area was really quiet, the bed is the comfiest I've slept on anywhere, and, being such a hot weekend, I loved that the room stayed pleasantly cool which made sleeping a lot easier and more comfortable.
Bridget was an absolutely wonderful host and helped to create the perfect stay. A bonus was being right next to Tapeka Point for great swimming the next day.

We loved our stay at Russell and Karen's charming house. The view is breathtaking, and the quaint little town of Russel offers a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of excellent dining options. Karen is an incredible hostess—her breakfasts are delightful, and her beautiful home is truly a gem. We recommend this place to anyone looking for that little extra touch of Paradise. Beautifully fitted out. The bed was so comfortable! Very private. Great little walk to the Stone Store. We loved looking out the big windows into the garden and eating on the deck. A really relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful property. with super-friendly hosts. Everything you could want or need for a stay near Paihia. I wish we had booked longer here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

It was in a beautiful quiet idyllic setting with amazing views from balcony of Russell Bay, short walk to the lovely town and bay. Very comfortable with all amenities and fresh fruit and breakfast provided. Sue is a wonderful host who is very involved in the community and has vast information about the area. We loved it.
The hosts are a charming and personal couple. We had a bit of luck, got an upgrade, and had ample space for the three of us. The rooms are tidy and well-equipped. Lots of onsite parking, a nice pool and pool area, and quiet surroundings. We came back a day later to stay for another two nights.

Baden, our host, was helpful and friendly. the cooking facilities I. the room were great and we made our own breakfast daily. Lovely upstairs suite, with a large deck facing north and west. On the waterfront, right in the heart of Russell, yet quiet and peaceful at the same time. The host, Karen was terrific: friendly, but never intrusive. We got fresh fruit, yogurt etc provided for the continental breakfast, along with cereals, toast, juice and delicious homemade preserves. :-)
