The owner Ai is one of the kindest, coolest humans I've met in Japan. As a solo traveller I couldn't have asked for a better place to base myself to enjoy the snow and Myoko. Baco Myoko has an unassuming facade hiding a relaxed, comfortable haven to kick back in after riding the surrounding mountains. Ai has great knowledge of the area when it comes to eating and good advice on mountains to ski for the current conditions. A great place to meet people if adventuring alone, private onsens, shuttles to the mountains and great breakfasts are all part of the package.I know how hard it is to sort through all the accomodation options in myoko, trust me and stay with Ai for your trip. You won't regret it

YAKATA - Vacation STAY 58651v er staðsett í Yuzawa, 22 km frá Naeba-skíðasvæðinu, 9,1 km frá Maiko-skíðadvalarstaðnum og 17 km frá Tanigawadake. Superior experience! The host Mina and her mom are very kind and offer great service! Mina is fluent in English and always tries her best to make sure I enjoy the stay. Stayed in the single room, the actual room size is bigger than it looks in the picture. Big wardrobe for storage. Complimentary breakfast is great and comes with a wide variety of drink options, but the portion might not be enough for people who normally eats a lot. The place is super convenient with a free shuttle bus stop right across the street, making it very easy to get the train station, GALA and Ishiuchi.

YAKATA - Vacation STAY 58660v er staðsett í Yuzawa, 22 km frá Naeba-skíðasvæðinu, 9,1 km frá Maiko-skíðadvalarstaðnum og 17 km frá Tanigawadake. The room is clean. The host is very nice. The location is opposite to the Yuzawa Kogen ski resort. If getting the bus from Gala Yuzawa, just find the route that will pass Yuzawa Kogen and tell the bus driver. Share bathroom is not the problem. Recommend to stay here.

Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

We couldn’t have wished for better hosts. With an easy going attitude they have made this an unforgettable stay! Lisa knows all the good restaurants in town and organizes some really cool day trips! Dave showed us very cool off-piste runs in all of the nearby resorts 👍🏽 There is a courtesy bus for pick-ups at the resorts and restaurants. The lodge is really cozy and our beds where very comfortable. See you soon!

KONAYUKI er staðsett í Myoko, 33 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu og býður upp á gistirými með bar, ókeypis WiFi og farangursgeymslu. The owners and staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. Reasonably priced shuttle service was provided. Location was perfect, directly across from Akakura Kanko gondola. Loved the common area!

Nemaru is the embodiment of "cozy" - there's no end to the cute little curiosities lining the apartment! There are many delightful books to look at, as well as a projector for a fun home theater. There was clearly a lot of love put into these accommodations, and I think everyone will feel right at home here. Miura, the host, was also very kind and welcoming!
