The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

Beautiful eclectic house and garden, we had a wonderful stay.

Offering quiet street views, Baco Myoko Akakura is an accommodation set in Myoko, 35 km from Nagano Station and 46 km from Suzaka City Zoo. We had a wonderful time at Baco Myoko. Ai, is the most amazing host. She is thoughtful, generous, and made us feel like family. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. She cooked delicious breakfast every morning, cooked us a traditional Japanese dinner on two of our nights there, took us to the fire festival in Nozawa Onsen and went skiing with us a couple of times. The location is perfect - right on the main street with easy access to restaurants, bars and slopes! Bedroom was spacious and we loved the onsens! Highly recommend!

YAKATA - Vacation STAY 58651v is located in Yuzawa, 22 km from Naeba Ski Resort, 9.1 km from Maiko Snow Resort, as well as 17 km from Tanigawadake. Amazing & cozy place. Very welcoming hosts. The spacious rooms are located on the 2nd floor of a very cute café run by the owners. It is well-equipped and maintained, very clean everywhere. In the morning, there was an amazing breakfast downstairs in the café. Definitely stay for breakfast, it was an absolute highlight! If you stay in Yuzawa, you should certainly visit.

Located in Yuzawa in the Niigata region, with Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and Echigo-Yuzawa Station nearby, YAKATA - Vacation STAY 58595v provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This was one of the best stays I’ve had in Japan. The lodge is very cosy and clean, and in the most convenient location if you’re planning to ski. It is right next to Shiga Kogen Ski Resort, and there is free shuttle bus that takes you to GALA and Ishiuichi in just 10-20 mins. Mina and her mum were wonderful hosts, warm and very helpful. They really took care of us and were so hospitable ☺️ The cafe downstairs is fantastic. Highly recommend having breakfast there. It is simple yet delicious, taste of Japanese home cooking. Desserts are quite special and a must try!

They were so warm and friendly. Made us feel right at home. Was given breakfast every morning. The bread (toast) made by the host was the best toast ever.

Situated in Tokamachi and only 13 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, 古民家宿Tani House Itaya -セルフチェックイン features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

With an easy going attitude they have made this an unforgettable stay! Lisa knows all the good restaurants in town and organizes some really cool day trips! Dave showed us very cool off-piste runs in all of the nearby resorts 👍🏽 There is a courtesy bus for pick-ups at the resorts and restaurants. The lodge is really cozy and our beds where very comfortable. See you soon!

Providing ski-to-door access, a bar and free WiFi, KONAYUKI is a recently renovated guest house 33 km from Zenkoji Temple and 35 km from Nagano Station. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have stayed in Myoko numerous times, and this was by far my favorite stay in terms of accommodation. Location wise, it's as close as you can get to 'ski in-ski out' in Myoko, while also only being a short walk from most of the local restaurants/onsen. Kenji and his family go the extra mile to ensure you have the best time in Myoko, from discount lift pass tickets, providing local transport, even down to the little details such as booking restaurants in advance for our larger group. The accommodation itself was very cozy and was a perfect spot to relax after a long day on the mountain with a hot cocoa or a local craft beer. Kenji and his family definitely made this a special trip, one my family will always remember.

Located just 12 km from Yukiguni Garden Park, NEMARU Live with Books provides accommodation in Nagaoka with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Nemaru is the embodiment of "cozy" - there's no end to the cute little curiosities lining the apartment! There are many delightful books to look at, as well as a projector for a fun home theater. There was clearly a lot of love put into these accommodations, and I think everyone will feel right at home here. Miura, the host, was also very kind and welcoming!
