He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!

ゲストハウス奈良庵 B&B Nara An, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Nara, 5.9 km from Nara Station, 13 km from Iwafune Shrine, as well as 17 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church. Feels like home from home. Hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. Felt more like staying with friends. Hiroko even dropped us to station on her way to work which is very much appreciated. Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious

The room is nice, met other nationalities which became friends as well. The owners are really nice, we always talk a lot while having my dinner. They fetched me on my first day as i was a bit lost and it was raining so hard. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of the train stations, shopping areas, and restaurants. I liked that the area is generally peaceful and quiet, not along the major road. I also liked the small kitchen with free coffee and tea. And I appreciated the list of nearby recommended places to eat -- very helpful. Really such a lovely place to stay in.

Yoko-san is a wonderful host, we were only there for one night but we had some great conversations and she also gave great recommendations about nearby things to do. The guesthouse is quite small, so it feels cozy and we felt very welcome. We were only about 15 minutes from the train station, and there were signs that made sure we don't miss the path to get to the guest house, as it's not right on the road.

The owners are so lovely, it was a really nice experience. I had just finished a 3 day hike and was exhausted so the mum made me a delicious Bento box for dinner. The living space is very spacious and light, it felt very relaxing in there. The communal kitchen and bathroom area is also very spacious and has everything you would need.
