Onsen Guest House Tsutaya erbjuder rum i Hakone nära Kowakudani station och Skulpturparken Hakone. Denna ryokan med 2 stjärnor har ett gemensamt kök och bagageförvaring. Vi bodde i ett mycket fint och rymligt familjerum med egen balkong och utsikt över det skogsbevuxna berget där ljudet från vattenfallet nedanför kunde höras. Vi älskade onsen med de varna baden. Mycket trevliga gemensamma utrymmen där man kunde förbereda eget frukost.

Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- ligger i Gora och har en gemensam lounge, en trädgård, en terrass och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Gratis privat parkering finns. The staff was very kind. The garden and common space were lovely and relaxing. We loved the private onsen, which works with a booking system. There was a car parking. We slept comfortably in our room. Overall amazing stay.

CASA Kamakura Espresso&BED ligger i Kamakura, inom 14 minuters promenad från Zaimokuza Beach och 2,8 km från Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gū helgedom. Very unique Japanese design room (simplicity) with “soft” colour decoration and Japanese furniture which made me so relaxed and comfortable.

Irori Guest House Tenmaku ligger i Hakone, 8,5 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en bar. Nice and clean hostel, well located. I highly recommend.

Situated in Noge district in Yokohama, GuestHouse FUTARENO is a 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations. A true Japanese experience on a futon on tatami mat on the floor The room was hugely spacious The young couple with their gorgeous baby boy who own it were lovely It was so close to Chinatown for great food and just a short walk from the railway We commuted by bus to the shipping terminal for a 3 week cruise thereafter and were really happy with our choice of accommodation the night before The Convenience store is close and it’s in a very central position

Offering hot-spring baths, free Wi-Fi and a completely non-smoking environment, Fuji-Hakone Guest House is a cosy family-run inn with English-speaking staff. The guest house is so clean!!! The staff even wiped the wheels of our cabin luggage before bringing it in. Out 6 and 7 year old children loved the onsen which surprised me. The outdoor and indoor onsens are lovely and very clean. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable and offered us a bigger and more comfortable room after the first night when the opportunity arose after a cancellation. Mr Takahashi and his family speak excellent English and provide excellent suggestions for access, transportation and food. The guesthouse is quite far in from Odawara station (50 minute bus ride) but very close to the various modes of transportation to the attractions. We had a lovely stay. And by the way, it’s my second visit after 20 years to the same guest house and it’s even better than I remembered :-)

The accommodation is clean and the rooms are very characteristic. The landlord are very warm-hearted. Can speak English communication was no problem.

Open House Sakurasakura - Kamakurayama - - Vacation STAY 14049 ligger i Kamakura, 2,9 km från Yuigahama Beach, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Overall speaking our stay was fantastic. We read the comments before we booked and expected a good stay. We know the transport is a concern but we drive, so it isn’t an issue. (See below for more about parking) Yet, it is still out of our expectations. We enjoyed so much in the quiet and harmony environment! We spent 4 days 3 nights here. We appreciate the services, food and environment. Places are clean, neat and tidy. The host Rin-san is very detailed and helpful. Its location is a distance from the town; so it is quiet. Originally we planned for long days in nearby towns and tourist locations, and thought that it is just a place for bath and sleep. We didn’t book for additional meals (only booked a dinner on the first night because we would arrive late). Later on we changed our mind and booked the breakfast for day 3 and 4 so that we can enjoyed and relaxed more. Both the dinner and 2x breakfast were wonderful: good variety, delicious, well garnished, and good price! Next to it is a large park. On day 3 we shortened our day tour and went back early. We jogged for an hour and then bought some beer and light meal as our day-3-dinner. The sunset was wonderful. We just sat outdoor, had some snack and chat. An hour easily passed. There were a few email interactions before we checked in. Rin-san explained everything we need and reserved a parking space for us. He replied our questions promptly and arranged everything as requested. We had no difficulty locating the House except that we didn’t expect the condition of the small road towards the House was so poor. In fact Rin-san had explained to us in the email. The road was under construction. We then moved our car to the House another parking space on day 2 morning. It’s just 2 minutes walk and is next to the park we mentioned above. Rin-san drove us there. The arrangement was great. I can’t probably write everything here.
