Featuring 1-star accommodation, Guest House EBISAN is set in Furano, 21 km from Furano Station and 22 km from Windy Garden. Clean and welcoming. Coffee and tea were good. Just buy your own milk. Egg and bread with butter and jam provided. We had the futon room and it was warm despite 5 degree Celsius in both evenings. Owner provided vouchers to enjoy the onsen at Prince Hotel next to Ningle terrace. Fantastic experience and worth the 800 yen. Distance is a little far from Furano. Will take at least 20 minutes to get to Ebisan. Nearest village is 8km away and there’s a good 7-11 and Seico mart store to replenish supplies. Do be aware of the bathing times. Very helpful when we were caught up at the onsen and had to get dinner from 7-11. They allowed us to have a quick dinner downstairs. Excellent affordable stay.

Attractively set in the Toyako Onsen district of Lake Toya, Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated 300 metres from Lake Toya, 40 km from Muroran and 40 km from Higashi-muroran Station. The staff were great and really took the time to show me around and recommend me places to go to. They made sure there is a good guesthouse ambiance. It's a warm place and I'd love to go there again

Guesthouse Erimo Apartment, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Sapporo, 11 km from Shin-Sapporo Station, 23 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center, as well as 40 km from Otaru Station. Takashi-san was the consummate host, personable and very accommodating and full of spot on suggestions and background information. The suite was ingeniously compact, but included everything we might need for a week's stay and was spotlessly clean. The location was convenient to public transport and within walking distance of many attractions. And the neighborhood was a quiet, comfortable pedestrian precinct, quite interesting in its own right.

I needed a short stay and didn’t mind a cheap place. But it exceeded my expectations. Nearest subway line took me straight to Sapporo and to a new restaurant area. It was a bit hard lugging my suitcase through the snow for less than 10 minutes and climbing the entry stairs, but the location was really good. The facilities and common room were AMAZING and was a pleasant surprise! The staff were attentive and very accommodating. Would recommend.

The host is exceptionally kind, accomodating and making everything happen to make his guests feel comfortable. We had nice chats, he prepared amazing breakfast, and we felt right at home! I can highly recommend to visit and learn more about Japan in this unique guesthouse.
