The Lion at West Pennard is set in West Pennard, 5 km outside Glastonbury and 39 km from Bath. This 15th century pub, offers refurbished en suite room and log fires. Lovely old pub, very clean and beautiful rooms decorated to a high standard and an enormous double bed! Staff very friendly. Dinner was absolutely delicious and breakfast excellent. Parking in front and good location between Glastonbury and Wells.

The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are excellently presented and comfortable. Can’t fault it.

The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. Amazing historical property, great location, great food.

Lovely warm welcome, and staff that really couldn't do enough for us. The onsite restaurant serves a range of dishes, catering for vegans and vegetarians also. It's a community-owned pub/cafe/restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and it was always busy - There's a positive buzz that's omnipresent. Breakfast was toast, pastries, and cereals, simply help yourself - We didn't miss a cooked breakfast, at all, there was sufficient to see us into the day. The room was fabulous - Huge bed (large double) that was really comfy, en suite shower was immaculate, and the view from the window onto a country lane from which we regularly saw horses go by. Deadly silent by night, which was great, even with the window open. Will definitely be back!

Great little place about 10 minutes walk to the high street - the bed and pillows were comfy - the kitchen had every thing you needed for your your diy breaky - sofas to sit and relax on as well - great place and we will definitely stay again - loved it
