Lovely old pub, very clean and beautiful rooms decorated to a high standard and an enormous double bed! Staff very friendly. Dinner was absolutely delicious and breakfast excellent. Parking in front and good location between Glastonbury and Wells.

The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are excellently presented and comfortable. Can’t fault it.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. We arrived really early so we. Had a delicious lunch while waiting for our room. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE REFIT AND HOW SYMPATHETIC THEY HAD RESTORED IT. Loved the old books scatted throughout the rooms.

As I have an eating problem the breakfast I had suited me 100% I cannot find fault with any thing, the location was just right for the purpose of my visit, although it was for one day only i cant wait to go back and stay longer, I would certainly recommend this Guest House to all my friends.

Lovely warm welcome, and staff that really couldn't do enough for us. The onsite restaurant serves a range of dishes, catering for vegans and vegetarians also. It's a community-owned pub/cafe/restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and it was always busy - There's a positive buzz that's omnipresent. Breakfast was toast, pastries, and cereals, simply help yourself - We didn't miss a cooked breakfast, at all, there was sufficient to see us into the day. The room was fabulous - Huge bed (large double) that was really comfy, en suite shower was immaculate, and the view from the window onto a country lane from which we regularly saw horses go by. Deadly silent by night, which was great, even with the window open. Will definitely be back!
