Fantastic location with an amazing view of the lake. The room had character but was tastefully decorated. The entrance and staircase is incredible! Breakfast was top notch. It was a great stay.

Situated in Brecon, 47 km from Elan Valley, Plough and Harrow features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It was like a home away from home. At first we were a bit concerned about the room and bathroom size but these were not an issue as we fitted without a problem. The ‘old pub feel’ was very relaxing, it was nice to come ‘home’ after a busy day sightseeing and relax in the lounge before dinner. Our host (Sue) was amazing and her suggestions for things to do were great - as were her breakfasts! At the end of our 4 day stay she felt like a friend.
