Situated in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, in picturesque Dorchester, The George Hotel, Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire is one of Britain’s oldest coaching inns. This was our favorite place to stay during our Thames Path walk. The rooms are recently and stylishly renovated, and really look good. The ambience of this medieval inn was great. The beds are very comfortable, and the food at breakfast was fantastic. Dinner, with a reduced menu choice, was also good. Staff seemed eager to please.

Sandford Meadow Guest House in Oxford provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. The house was very warm and comfortable. The surroundings are very quiet so we had the best sleep. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Featuring a garden, Guest House B&B is situated in Oxford, within 46 km of Newbury Racecourse. We had a very comfortable stay in a very roomy clean mini apartment.the hosts were welcoming and helpful with sorting out the TV for us.we will definitely book to come again if we need to be in the area.

Located in Wallingford and only 26 km from University of Oxford, Garden Room provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The Garden Room was a neat, comfortable and cosy little cottage in a quiet area of a country estate. It had all facilities we needed, good shower & bathroom, the bedroom was a lovely room although a little cramped for two people travelling with 2 large suitcases and backpacks. There was little room on each side of the bed to move around comfortably, however it would suit a single traveller with minimal luggage. The owners were helpful with information when required otherwise they left us to enjoy the lovely and quiet surrounds.

Both helpful and knowledgeable of the local and surrounding areas. Spotlessly clean accommodation. Very comfortable.

Boasting river views, Thames Edge Rooms offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from University of Oxford. Great hosts in a quiet section of Wallingford on the Thames. Modern room with a lot of extra amenities. Would absolutely stay here again
